Loyal, courageous, and genuine are just some of a dog’s commendable characters. All of those were present in this faithful dog officer, Leon. He’s a police partner to Officer Webb Sistrunk.
They both did a great job protecting the citizens in their area, but a shootout one day sent Leon’s buddy to the hospital.
Fortunately, Leon’s buddy survived, and just three days later, the K9 was allowed to visit his injured pal. The pet was probably relieved that his buddy’s okay.
At the hospital, Leon said hello to the familiar faces of his buddy’s family and friends. They were happy to see him too!
The hospital staff received the courageous dog and his entourage with welcoming smiles. The pet’s focus was on reuniting with his pal, so nothing else mattered.
The K9 followed his nose to get reunited with his buddy, and soon, he found him on the bed.
The wounded officer called to his dog, and the K9 was a blur in his mad rush to reach his buddy. Aww, what a sweet and welcoming gesture, pet! Even in his excitement, he kept his movements gentle, knowing his buddy’s recovering.
He put his head on the bed as though to ask if he’s okay.
The wounded officer placed his left hand on the dog. Leon tried to get on the bed, and he wondered why his handler didn’t allow him to. He whined and did all he could to join his pal to no avail.
Aww, we’re sorry, buddy! It’s their job to make sure your pal makes a full recovery, so for now, kisses and pets will do!
He knows you miss and care for him, but he needs to fully recover first. Don’t worry, he will, and he’ll be back before you know it. Thanks for being faithful and courageous, doggo!
