Every pup has a distinct feature that makes them extra adorable. But have you seen a pup with a heart-shaped marking imprinted on the chest of a pup? Well, if not, then you will see it here, but only through a photo.
A charming pup with doe-like eyes and an adorable combination of white and black fur has this unique feature. This pup found its way to an animal shelter and immediately met her forever family. The pup first stayed in an animal shelter in Oklahoma called the Broken Arrow Animal Shelter. The shelter, like most organizations, posted a photo of the adorable pup on Facebook, and within a few hours, the photo of the border collie pup went viral.
The post was reported in Fox23 News, a TV station, to have been shared for more than 27,000 times. It received several positive responses and comments about the border collie pup. It was pretty obvious that many were interested in sharing their home with this pup.
Though many kept showing their interest in the pup, the shelter had to follow their implemented guidelines. The shelter made it clear through their website that all stray pups have to be kept for five days in the shelter before being adopted. Also, the first to come and be approved by the shelter was the one going to take the pup home; this rule was very timely for the situation of the puppy. So to adopt the dog, one family went beyond what anyone expected them to do.
The family made sure they were the first on the list by camping outside the shelter, hours before the adoption began. Thanks to their determination, the Pendleton family was able to adopt the pup and share their home with her. The family also named her Luna. Luna now has a loving family who will stay by her side forever.
