It’s always dangerous for dogs to be out on the streets. There are countless dangers that they may encounter. There are still risk factors, and one of those is getting hit by a car.
One dog had such fate and was found by a homeless man who took him in for a while. A few rescuers heard about his story, and they came to get him from the homeless man.
The dog was named Garus. The man wanted to keep the dog but knows he is unable to provide for him. The homeless man knows that the rescuers can give the dog a better life.
As the rescuers were trying to approach the dog, they noticed that he has a limp. His hind legs seem to be broken. Garus needed to be checked by a vet to get an x-ray and see the cause for all his limping.
It was a little difficult for the rescuers to save him as he tried running away from them. Eventually, they were able to, and Garus finally got the x-ray that he badly needed. The results showed that he has a broken pelvis and a pinched sciatic nerve.
Garus must have been in pain for weeks. If he was not rescued, he would have to live with the pain for a long time.
The rescue dog was then operated on for more than three hours. The doctor was glad that the dog was recovering well after the operation. About a month later, he was adopted by a loving family.
Garus was very fortunate to have been saved. His limp was not only corrected, but he also gained a loving family. Garus will always be grateful for the rescuers who saved him. They have completely changed his’ life.
