Losing a family member because of death is never an easy thing to go through. Thinking about all the memories you have shared with them can be heartbreaking, especially when you come to realize that you will never get to share new memories with them. But no matter how hard it may be, we all would never want to forget our loved ones.
Frank, an adorable and sweet pup, knows this feeling very well. Franks lost his pup brother, named Smiff, in death. Frank loved his brother very much and was heartbroken when Smiff never came back home.
When Smiff passed away last month, his whole family was devastated. Libby Davey, Smiff and Frank’s fur mom, said that she missed her late pup so much and thought hanging a painting of him in their living room would make her feel a little better. The poster of Smiff did comfort her grieving heart, but to her surprise, it also comforted Frank.
As soon as Libby hung the poster on the wall, Frank showed just how meaningful it was for him. Frank was quick to realize that it was a picture of his dear brother hanging on their wall. The pup started wagging his tail out of joy after seeing Smiff’s poster.
Frank couldn’t take his eyes away from the portrait and even jumped up their couch to get a closer look at the brother he missed the most. Libby was very touched by Frank’s reaction and felt emotional as she watched Frank react to the portrait. Libby took a video of Frank looking at the portrait.
Although the video is short, the emotions and joy are clearly seen in it. Truly, even though Smiff is no longer with them, his memories will live on in his family’s hearts. A good boy like Smiff will never be forgotten.
