A lot of experts we have now started to be just persons who were obsessed with what they do. Because yes, it’s true – passion and focus can go a long way just as how it did for Finley, the puppy!
Finley Molloy of Canandaigua, New York, is madly in love with his tennis balls! He literally devotes every minute to it, so his mom, Erin Molloy, one day decided to gift him as many as she could get so he could have the best time just as how we’d all want it for our sweethearts. But little did she know, this would pave the way for a world record!
On his own, Finley then began developing his ball-holding ability. From only two or three that he could carry at a time back then, he’s now able to manage six. Witnessing this, Erin thought it should have to be made known to everybody!
And that’s how she started the Instagram page for Finley! Every once in a while, she’d post updates of her pup in his extensive training, or shall we say intense play, and gradually they gathered followers!
Erin was very happy that, with it, she’s able to share the joy with their fans. But what she didn’t know was while trying to, she’s already been introducing to all a new holder of a world record – one for most balls held in the mouth!
When she did learn about this finally, Erin couldn’t help but just be so proud! She couldn’t imagine that her darling would get to achieve such a feat! To her delight, then, she threw a backyard party to celebrate, and everybody was invited!
In an interview, afterward, Erin shared how glad she felt receiving the award. It was overwhelming, indeed, yet, as she adds, for her, nothing could still feel more rewarding than knowing they’ve put smiles on people’s faces through something that her pup loves doing most!
And on that, we can’t help but admire!
